Phal schilleriana
Phalaenopsis schilleriana is a showy flowering species with masses of pink flowers. The flowers have a delicate rose-petal fragrance and are two to three inches across. The branching inflorescence may grow several feet in length. Mature plants may produce two or more inflorescences in the same season. The leaves are a striking feature of this plant, dark green overlaid with silvery-gray irregular marbling, usually seen as transverse bands on the upper surfaces, while the undersides of the leaves are a purple-red. The combination of the attractive foliage, flowers, and fragrance make this species a favorite of many growers.

The inflorescences Phalaenopsis stuartiana of are also heavily branching and many flowered. The faintly fragrant flowers are 1" to 2" inches across, white with fine to heavy cinnamon-red spotting on the basal halves of the lower sepals and on the lip. It is a medium sized plant with mottled green leaves and blooms in the spring.

Phalaenopsis equestris
Phalaenopsis equestris is found throughout the Philippines and Taiwan. It flowers throughout the year with many miniature lavender flowers with branching habit on a compact plant. Its petals are white to pink and often flushed; its lip may be rose, purple, pink or orange with a yellow or white callus. when the spike has finished flowering, do not cut it off the plant as kiekies quite often develop on the ends of the spikes.
