Phragmipedium Acker's Superstar 'MVP' 4N AM/AOS x Mem. Dick Clements 'Rocket Flash' 4N combines hybrids that every collector has heard of. Acker’s Superstar is the hybrid of Jason Fischer and Eric Young. Waunakee Sunset is a vivid dark red with excellent form. Here they are combined to produce red Phragmipediums for awardable shape, color and size.

Phragmipedium Don Wimber is one of the most awarded Phragmipediums to date. In this remake, tetraploid parents, Eric Young and besseae, have been used to improve an already excellent hybrid. The flowers of Phragmipedium Don Wimber 4N are frequently 4 inches in width with beautiful red color.

Phragmipedium Grande is an old hybrid dating back to 1881, but is still in demand today. Remade with improved modern-day parents, we see superior plant vigor and flower holding capabilities along with long elegant petals.

Phrag. Penn's Creek Cascade was created by crossing the Phrag. Grande hybrid and the Phrag. wallisii species, which produces large flowers with incredibly long petals, hanging almost to the base of the plant. The sepals are ivory with lime green stripes and the long petals are white and lime green and pink. Multiple flowers that bloom progressively on a tall inflorescence.
