Paph Friedrich von Hayek is a worthy tribute to a great economist. Adding Macabre, a grex that has 30 awarded progeny, does wonders. Mostly flames and some vinis but we do see the occasional recessive gene coloratums

Paph. kolopakingii is one of the most biggest Paphiopedilum species Plants need to be very large before they bloom, but when they do they put on a wonderful display of up to 14 flowers on an inflorescence. The sepals are white with maroon viens and the twisted petals are yellow with maroon

Paphiopedilum Larry Booth is the hybrid of Saint Swithin and haynaldianum. Its flowers and white and greenish-yellow and the petals are shaded rose with burgundy spots.

Paphiopedilum Odette's Fred is the hybrid of Odette's Spell, a very dark vini, and Friedrich von Hayek,a beautiful flame. The result is both dark vinis and startling flames and a few coloratums!

Paph Puck's Apple is the hybrid of appletonium and Mod Muad. It is a cute novelty with a lot of appletonianum showing giving pleasing purple petals.

Paphiopedilum Roseville is the hybrid of glaucophyllum and acmodontum. The flowers look like a large glaucophyllum with wider petals. Glaucophyllum is a sequential bloomer that can flower for more than a year on the same spike. Acmodontum is an easy to gow plant with beautiful yellow-gren foliage with blue-green tesselations and veins.

Paph topperi, sometimes referred to as Pah kolopakingii var topperi, are among the largest of the Paphs. When mature it can bloom with 12 or more flowers on 3 foot spikes on plants with 3 foot leaf spans A spectacular sight! The flowers are like the flowers of kolopakingii, but green in color.
